Please take a moment to view Zach's artistic view of the wildlife of North America that are so near and dear to his heart. Zach is one of the few wildlife artists that uses watercolors as his medium of choice. The use of watercolors and his unique style create a new perspective of wildlife art unlike any other. Thanks for visiting!
Here's my depiction of a mature bull elk fighting for survival on the Yellowstone River. Although this is a controversial subject, I simply have tried to paint it as I have seen it. Whether you are for or against the reintroduction of wolves into the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, we can all agree that for one animal to eat another has to die. Not all wildlife art is cute and fuzzy, the sun isn't always shining, and the flowers aren't always in bloom, the cold hard reality of the wild world is the daily struggle for life.
